Personal Problems
For many of us, life seems full of problems. Sometimes, we may think that we are the only one to have this problem. At other times, we know that many feel the same. Yet we may not know how to get help. We may find it difficult to talk to people close to us about our problems. Distressing personal problems can seriously interfere with every day life and emotional well being. Anxiety or depression, conflicts with or worries about family or friends, loneliness and alienation are experiences that many people suffer with at some time in their life. Counsellors can help put problems in perspective, making them more manageable.
As a counsellor I have expertise in a variety of problem areas.
These include:
Anxiety, stress and low mood
Self-confidence and self-esteem
Disability or illness
Sexuality and sexual orientation issues
Abuse and assault issues
Bereavement, grief and mourning
If you feel you are having difficulty coping with life's challenges then why not think about seeking supportive help. The opportunity to speak freely about your concerns in a confidential and non-judgmental atmosphere can be a great relief.
